Becoming A Yin Yoga Teacher

Why take a yin yoga training in the first place?

Yin is the antidote to the fast-paced, always-on world we live in. It’s a quiet, grounding, deeply meditative practice that gives people permission to just be. Whether you’re a teacher wanting to offer more balance in your classes, or a student craving depth in your own practice, yin yoga helps you tune into the body’s quieter messages. It teaches patience, presence, and the art of holding space. Plus, it’s a beautiful way to learn about the fascia, meridian lines, nervous system, and emotional release through stillness.

What makes this training different?

I’ve been teaching yoga for 15 years and guiding teacher trainings for over a decade. I created this program because I wanted to offer something that blends the spiritual, energetic, emotional, and anatomical sides of yin in a way that’s accessible, heartfelt, and useful. You’ll learn how to actually teach yin yoga (not just memorize poses!). You’ll learn how to protect your own energy as a teacher and how to support your students through both physical postures and energetic shifts.

I’ve studied with some of the best—Thomas Myers, Leslie Kaminoff, Bernie Clark, Sarah Powers—and their teachings are woven into the foundation of this course. I co-teach the training with Amanda Stokes, a trauma-informed yoga teacher, psychotherapist, and Reiki master, who brings so much depth and insight to the space.

If you’re feeling the pull to deepen your practice, slow things down, and hold space for others in a more meaningful way, this yin yoga teacher training might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

We’ll meet over two weekends from September 26 to October 5, 2025. It’s a mix of learning, reflection, connection, and lots of yin.

Early bird pricing is $850 until June 1st, 2025. After that, it’s $950.

If this is calling to you, I’d love for you to join us. Let’s slow down together.
