Parent-Baby Yoga

This winter, warm up your hearts, souls and bodies with a parent-baby yoga class, followed by coffee and conversation at one of Toronto’s coolest art coffee bars. Ashley Holly, yoga teacher and yoga teacher training (and new mom!) will lead parents and their babies through a one hour yoga practice, assisted by a childcare worker, that guarantees a few well-deserved moments of zen in your day. Following class, enjoy OFFSITE’s local art exhibits while mingling with other parents in our community over a delicious cup of coffee or tea.

50-Hour Yin Teacher Training

Designed for both dedicated teachers and passionate practitioners, you will deepen your love for this therapeutic practice and learn to share this practice with others. You will learn anatomical variations, modifications, and propping that will empower you to “fit the pose to the student” rather than “fit the student to the pose”.

All welcome. Whether you’re looking to specialize in teaching yin or are simply a curious student excited to deepen your practice, this 7-day in-depth exploration will radically shift your understanding of anatomy, therapeutics, and your own body. A 200-certification is required to teach.

During this course, you will learn anatomical variations, modifications, and propping that will deepen your understanding and appreciation for the practice of Yin and enable you to share this practice with others. Aspiring Yin teachers as well as practitioners simply interested in enhancing their understanding of this practice will benefit from this 50-hour exploration of Yin and the body

Join Ashley and her team of assistants for this transformational 2 hour yin yoga practice. Founded on the principles of stillness bridged with therapeutic adjustments, aromatherapy and meditative exploration, Ashley will guide you into a deeply relaxing, inspiring and healing yin yoga practice.

The workshop commences with lessons on how to use yoga and aromatherapy to manage stress, and concludes with a delicious 75 minute practice. Poses are held anywhere from 4-10 minutes and manual, hands-on adjustments along with Saje aromatherapy application are offered by the assistants to free the any restrictions in your body, mind and spirit.

Workshop attendees will automatically earn 1 class towards their YRewards count.
